Based on actual misguided events during one very long Pride month. “Proud and Bothered” premiered in New York at La Mama Theater under its original title “Marga Gomez’s Intimate Details” and was directed by David Schweizer. It was the winner of the 2004 GLAAD Media Award for Off Broadway Theater.
